I want.

I want my dad to take them to the park.

I want my dad to take Emma to the mall

I want my dad to take them to feed the ducks

I want him to give Emma some licorice.

I want him to take them for a walk.

I want him to give her the hug that only Papa can give.

I want him to let her "drive" his car

I want him to have a tea party with her.

I want him to give Zack a bottle and rock him to sleep

I want him to give her candy, even though she didn't eat her dinner

I want Zack to know him.

I want him to walk through my front door on Monday morning with his laptop in one hand and coffee in the other, ready to hang out with my kids for hours.

I want him to teach her how to play guitar

I want him to take him fishing.

I want him to text Emma back.

I want him to buy her a happy meal.

I want them to share a sausage biscuit with egg

I want him to kiss the princess when she falls asleep, so she can wake up again.

I want him to take her to the airport to watch the planes

I want him to bring her donuts

I want her to remember him.

  1. I want that for you too.

I want to be able to change the world and make it better. But since I can't I will just let you know that I love you, Miss Jenni! You are in my thoughts and in my heart.

  2. Oh Jenni, if I was granted a wish, I would give it to you for this. I love you. I will be praying for you all.

  3. I can't imagine what you are feeling. This was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I had/have a list of wants for my nana and my girls, because they were so close and she was so important to me. I cant imagine it being a parent. I love you and am praying for you and I so wish I could give you these things!!!

  4. I was reading Sarah's blog and saw the link to yours and thought what a wonderful way to see how those brilliant munchkins of yours are. I read this and I must tell you that I am still crying. Jenni - all the love to you during this phase of your life, which you have entered in all to soon.
